The Pupil Council is made up of representatives from each year group
They are elected annually by a secret ballot held across the school. They meet once a month and discuss issues that have been raised by fellow pupils.
They often raise money for fund raising appeals that a pupil will have brought to their attention. In the past they have run cake stalls, book stalls and washed cars to raise money for Help for Heroes, The Haiti Appeal and Children in Need.
They have also established a ‘buddy’ poster. If any child is feeling lonely or confused then there are representatives from each class that have been nominated to act as a ‘buddy’ for their peers. Their picture and name are on the poster and how they would like to help.
Miss Johnson acts as Secretary & produces minutes which are used for reporting.
